Hex Setup Guide

Prerequisites

• Access to a Hex workspace with permission to create Workspace Tokens
• Hex Workspace Token with Read Projects scope
• Hex Workspace URL

Setup Guide

1. Enter the Hex Workspace URL for your Hex instance. The URL is composed of:

   • Base URL – The primary domain of your Hex instance (e.g., https://app.hex.tech)
   • Site ID – The unique identifier for your workspace

   Example: https://app.hex.tech/<site-id>/

2. Enter the Workspace Token created in Hex with Read Projects and Read project queried tables permissions.

3. Enter a Name for the connector.

4. (Optional) Enter a Description for the connector.

5. Select the Owner of the connector.

6. (Optional) Click Test Connection to verify your Hex workspace is accessible.

7. Click Connect.
