Apple Search Ads Setup Guide

Prerequisites

• An active Apple Search Ads account with administrator access
• API access enabled for your Apple Search Ads account

Setup Guide

1. Invite API Users in Apple Search Ads:

   • Log in to Apple Search Ads and select Sign In > Advanced as an account administrator
   • In the Users menu in the top-right corner, select the account where you want to invite users
   • Navigate to Account Settings > User Management
   • Click Invite Users
   • In the User Details section, enter the user's first name, last name, and Apple ID
   • In the User Access and Role section, select the API Account Manager role
     • Note: If you select the API Read Only role, the required public key to configure Matia will not be displayed
   • Click Send Invite. The invited user will receive an email with a secure URL and code to activate the account

2. Upload Public Key and Get Credentials:

   • In the Matia connection setup form, copy the automatically generated Public Key
   • In the Apple Search Ads dashboard, navigate to Account Settings > API for the user you invited in step 1
   • In the Public Key field, paste the public key you copied from the Matia connection setup form
   • Click Save. A group of credentials will appear above the Public Key field
   • Copy the Client ID, Team ID, and Key ID values

3. Configure the Connection in Matia:

   • Enter your Client ID from Apple Search Ads
   • Enter your Team ID from Apple Search Ads
   • Enter your Key ID from Apple Search Ads
   • Enter a Name for the connector
   • (Optional) Enter a Description for the connector
   • Select the Owner of the connector
   • (Optional) Verify that your Apple Search Ads account is successfully connected by clicking on Test Connection
   • Click Connect
