Cedar AI Setup Guide

Prerequisites

• An active Cedar AI account.
• Carrier Id obtained from Cedar AI.

Setup Guide

Step 1 - Create a service-account user

1. Sign in to your Cedar AI account.
2. Create a dedicated Cedar user (e.g. integrations@yourco.example) in the Admin Portal.

Step 2 - Create a user group

1. Create a group (e.g. api-integrations) and add the service-account user to it.

Step 3 - Assign the required roles to the user/group

1. Assign both of these roles: arms.railcarApi arms.networkStructureApi

Step 4 — Generate an API key and bind it to the group

1. Create an API key in the Admin Portal and bind it to the api-integrations group.

Step 5: Complete Configuration in Matia

1. Enter the API Key and Service account user you just obtained from Cedar AI.
2. Enter the Carrier Id.
3. Enter an Asset Name.
4. (Optional) Enter a Description.
5. (Optional) Assign Tags.
6. Select an Owner.
7. Verify that your Cedar AI account is successfully connected by clicking on Test Connection.
8. Click Connect.
