Ceridian Dayforce Setup Guide
Prerequisites
- An active Ceridian Dayforce account with permissions to create API Keys.
- A user role with access to the Read Data subfeature
Setup Guide
Step 1: Grant API Access from Ceridian Dayforce
- Sign in to your Ceridian Dayforce account.
- On the navigation menu, go to System Admin and select Roles.
- Under the Web Services Field-Level Access tab, expand RESTful Services.
- Select the checkbox for all RESTful services and their fields.
- Make a note of your Ceridian Dayforce host (For example,
test.dayforcehcm.com) and the Company Name as they appear in your account
Step 2: Complete Configuration in Matia
- Enter the host and Company Name as they appeared in Ceridian Dayforce.
- Enter the Username and Password of the user account you want to use to access your data
- Enter an Asset Name.
- Select a Sync Start Date — Matia will sync data from the selected date forward.
- Enter an Asset Name.
- (Optional) Enter a Description.
- (Optional) Assign Tags.
- Select an Owner.
- Verify that your Ceridian Dayforce account is successfully connected by clicking on Test Connection.
- Click Connect.
