Anthropic Claude Setup Guide

Prerequisites

  • An active Claude Console account with Admin role.

Note: Admin API key is needed to access and sync organization-level data such as reports, costs and workspaces, while standard API key is used to access and sync workspace-level data such as files and skills.

Setup Guide

Step 1: Obtain Admin API Key

  1. Log into Claude Console with a user with Admin role.
  2. On the navigation manu, click your profile name and choose Organization Settings.
  3. Go to Admin Keys.
  4. Click Create admin key.
  5. Enter a descriptive name like Matia-Integration-Admin and click Add.
  6. Copy the generated API Token - you will need it to configure your connection.

Step 2: Obtain Standard API Key

  1. Go to the workspace you want to sync data from.
  2. On the navigation manue, click Manage and choose API keys.
  3. Click Create key.
  4. Verify that the workspace you're in is selected in the Create in Workspace drop-down menu.
  5. Enter a descriptive name like Matia-Integration and click Add.
  6. Copy the generated API Token - you will need it to configure your connection.

Step 3: Finish Configuration in Matia

  1. Enter the API Key and Admin API Key you just generated from Claude.
  2. Enter an Asset Name.
  3. (Optional) Enter a Description.
  4. (Optional) Assign Tags.
  5. Select an Owner.
  6. Verify that your Claude account is successfully connected by clicking on Test Connection.
  7. Click Connect.
