Datadog Setup Guide
Prerequisites
Make sure you have an active Datadog account.
Setup Guide
Step 1: Select Data Center
- If your Datadog site URL is https://app.datadoghq.eu, select EU.
- If your Datadog site URL is https://app.datadoghq.com, select US1.
- If your Datadog site URL is https://us3.datadoghq.com, select US3.
- If your Datadog site URL is https://us5.datadoghq.com, select US5.
- If your Datadog site URL is https://app.ddog-gov.com, select US1-FED.
- If your Datadog site URL is https://ap1.datadoghq.com, select AP1 (Japan).
Step 2: Add an Application + API Key
- Log in to your Datadog account.
- Open the site and locate Organization Settings -> Application Keys.
- Click New Key
- Go to Organization Settings -> API Keys.
- Click Create API Key.
- Enter a descriptive name for your API Key like
Matia-Integrationand click Create. - Copy the generated Applicatioion and API Tokens - you will need it to configure your connection.
Step 3: Add Application Scopes
Add the scopes you need to authorize the application key:

- apm_pipelines_read

- aws_configuration_read

- cloud_cost_management_read
- integrations_read

Step 4: Complete Configuration in Matia
- In Matia, enter your API Key and Application Key in the connector configuration.
- Select the Data Center You located in Step 1.
- Enter a Name for the connector.
- (Optional) Enter a Description.
- (Optional) Assign Tags.
- Select an Owner.
- Verify that your Datadog account is successfully connected by clicking on Test Connection.
- Click Connect
