Granola Setup Guide

Prerequisites

• An active Granola account on a Business plan or higher (API keys are available to any workspace member on a Business plan).

Note: On Enterprise plans, API key access scopes must first be enabled by a workspace admin under Settings → Workspace → General → API access for members.

Setup Guide

Step 1: Obtain API Key from Granola

1. Open the Granola desktop app.
2. Go to Settings → Connectors → API keys.
3. Click Create new key.
4. Choose the note access scope(s) the key should include - Personal notes and/or Public notes.
5. Click Generate API Key.
6. Copy the generated API Key - you will need it to configure your connection.

Step 2: Complete Configuration in Matia

1. Enter the API Key you just generated from Granola.
2. Enter an Asset Name.
3. (Optional) Enter a Description.
4. (Optional) Assign Tags.
5. Select an Owner.
6. Verify that your Granola account is successfully connected by clicking on Test Connection.
7. Click Connect.
