Marketo Setup Guide

Prerequisites

An active Marketo account with Admin permissions.

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Find API Endpoint and Identity Parameters

1. Log in to your Marketo account
2. Go to the Admin tab
3. On the Admin page, click Web Services (under the Integration section)
4. Copy the Endpoint and Identity values from the REST API section. You're going to need these values to configure your connection on Matia.

Step 2: Find Client ID and Client Secret

1. Back on the Admin tab, click LaunchPoint (under the Integration section)
2. Select your custom service and click View Details
3. Copy the Client Id and Client Secret. You're going to need these values to configure your connection on Matia.

Step 3: Set Role Permissions

Configure the correct Role Permissions for the Marketo API endpoints. Review Marketo's role permissions documentation to learn how.

Step 4: Complete Configuration in Matia

1. Enter the REST API Endpoint which you've obtained in step 1
2. Enter the REST API Identity which you've obtained in the same step
3. Enter the Client Id obtained in step 2
4. Enter the Client Secret obtained in the same step
5. Enter an Asset Name
6. (Optional) Enter a Description
7. (Optional) Assign Tags
8. Select an Owner
9. Click Test Connection to verify that your Marketo account is successfully connected
10. Click Connect
