Navan Setup Guide
Prerequisites
You need:
- a Navan account with Administrator permissions
- Expense Transaction API access (contact Navan support if you don't have this yet)
Setup Guide
Step 1: Create API credentials
- Log in to your Navan account.
- Click your username in the top left corner, then select Admin.
- Go to the Travel admin tab.
- Go to Settings -> Integrations.
- In the Navan API Credentials section, select Create New.
- Enter a Description for the credential.
- (Optional) Enter the Allowed IP Addresses or Subnet Mask.
- Click Create.
- Copy the Client ID and Client Secret - you'll need both to configure Matia.
Step 2: Find your region
Check your Navan URL to determine your region:
https://api.navan.com→ UShttps://app-fra.navan.com→ Europe
Make a note of the region - you'll need it to configure Matia.
Step 3: Complete Configuration in Matia
- Enter the Client ID and Client Secret you copied above.
- Select the Region you identified above.
- Enter an Asset Name.
- (Optional) Enter a Description.
- (Optional) Assign Tags.
- Select an Owner.
- Verify that your Navan account is successfully connected by clicking on Test Connection.
- Click Connect.
