Prerequisites

• An active Pendo account with Administrator permissions and API access.

Setup Guide

Step 1: Create Integration Key

1. Navigate to the Pendo Settings Page and click on Integrations.
2. Select the Integration Keys tab and click on Add Integration Key.
3. In the description field, enter a descriptive name like Matia Integration Key.
4. Make sure to enable the option to Allow Write Access (this is required for Matia to use the Pendo Aggregation endpoint).
5. Click Create.
6. Copy the generated key and store it securely. You will need it to set up the integration on Matia.

Step 2: Complete Configuration in Matia

1. Enter your Pendo's Data Center Region (US, EU, US1).
2. Enter the Integration Key you just generated and click Validate Integration Key
3. Enter the start date for full refresh syncs (if not provided the default start date will be set to Pendo's live date, 2013-10-01).
4. Select whether you'd like to sync all current and future app IDs or limit the integration for selected app IDs.
5. Enter an Asset Name.
6. (Optional) Enter a Description.
7. (Optional) Assign Tags.
8. Select an Owner.
9. Verify that your Pendo account is successfully connected by clicking on Test Connection.
10. Click Connect.
