Prerequisites

• An active Rippling account with Administrator permissions and API access.

Setup Guide

Step 1: Create Access Token

1. Navigate to the Rippling Account and navigate to the Settings page and within it to Company Settings.
2. Find the API Access tab and click on Create API Token.
3. In the “Token name” field, enter a descriptive name like Matia-Token.
4. Under “Scopes”, select the following read scopes:
   • companies.read
   • departments.read
   • leave-request.read
   • leave-type.read
   • levels.read
   • teams.read
   • time-cards.read
   • time-entries.read
   • users.read
   • work-locations.read
   • workers.read
   • compensations.read
   • employment-types.read
5. Click Save.
6. Copy the generated token and store it securely. You will not be able to view it again once you leave the page.

Step 2: Complete Configuration in Matia

1. Enter the API token you just generated.
2. Enter an Asset Name.
3. (Optional) Enter a Description.
4. (Optional) Assign Tags.
5. Select an Owner.
6. Verify that your Rippling account is successfully connected by clicking on Test Connection.
7. Click Connect.
